[Case Introduction] The case of the plaintiff Sun vs. the defendant Wang regarding a patent contract dispute was accepted by this court, which legally formed a collegial panel and held a public hearing on October 21, 2014. The plaintiff Sun's authorized agent Cai Yizhong, the defendant Wang, and his authorized agent Wang Gang attended the litigation. The case has now concluded. [Case Analysis] The plaintiff Sun claims: The plaintiff and defendant signed a "Patent Cooperation Agreement" on May 18, 2011, to engage in the research, production, and promotion of horizontally self-insulating energy-saving cement bricks. The agreement stipulates that both parties will share the costs incurred during the research phase (such as molds, machinery, and raw materials for products).

Using someone else's credit card constitutes the crime of credit card fraud.

[Case Introduction] A man named Liu encountered a "windfall" when he went to an ATM to withdraw money; he found a bank card that someone else had lost. Driven by greed, he withdrew 10,000 yuan from that bank card. [Case Analysis] Liu, who is just over thirty years old, is an employee at a company in Qingbaijiang. On the afternoon of August 30, 2014, shortly after 5 PM, he went to the bank's ATM to make a transaction and discovered a bank card left inside the machine. Upon checking the balance, he found it had over 14,000 yuan. Looking around and seeing no one was paying attention, Liu was suddenly filled with the intention to illegally possess the card.

A case of compensation for the death of a pedestrian caused by a man who was driving a colleague home.

[Case Introduction] An air conditioning installer, after finishing his work, drove his own car to take a colleague back to the company, during which he fatally hit a pedestrian. The deceased's family sued both the installer and his company in court, demanding joint compensation. The installer also hoped that the company would bear some responsibility, as he felt that the accident was somewhat related to the company. The court reviewed the case and ultimately ruled that the company was not liable for compensation, and the installer was ordered to pay 540,000 yuan in damages.
